The fine print, in plain language

Terms & Refund Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

The short version
  • Buy once, use forever. No subscription, no recurring charges.
  • Single-site licenses cover one website; Designer licenses cover unlimited sites you build.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee — if it doesn't work for you, we refund you.
  • We don't collect your visitors' data. Calendar links are generated in the browser.
  • Please don't resell, redistribute, or share the plugin or your license key.

1Agreement

These terms govern your purchase and use of CalButton (the "Plugin"), a software product for Squarespace websites operated by WeGo Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing, installing, or using the Plugin, you agree to these terms. If you're using the Plugin on behalf of a client or organization, you agree to these terms on their behalf.

2Your license

When you buy CalButton, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Plugin, according to the tier you purchased:

Your license is delivered as a license key. Keep it private — it's tied to your purchase and to the sites you use it on.

3Acceptable use

The license above is generous, and we ask a few things in return. You agree not to:

Using the Plugin to build calendar buttons on your own and your clients' sites — including on paid client projects — is exactly what it's for and is fully permitted.

4Refund policy

We want you to be happy with CalButton. If it doesn't work for you, we'll refund your purchase in full within 30 days — no complicated conditions. If something's broken, we'd love the chance to fix it first, but the refund stands either way.

To request a refund, reply to your purchase receipt or email us within 30 days of your purchase. We'll process it back to your original payment method.

Because a license key is delivered immediately and can't be "returned," refunds are offered at our discretion after 30 days, but we'll always try to make it right.

5Updates & availability

Your purchase includes updates to the Plugin at no additional cost, for as long as we maintain it. We host the Plugin's script and license service on reliable infrastructure and aim for high availability, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your buttons are built to keep working regardless. If our license service is ever unreachable, the Plugin fails open — your calendar buttons continue to function. License validation only disables buttons in response to an explicit "invalid" or "over-limit" result, never because of an outage on our end.

6Privacy

CalButton is built to be privacy-respecting.

7Warranty & liability

The Plugin is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we build and test CalButton carefully and stand behind it with the refund policy above, we can't guarantee it will be error-free or compatible with every possible configuration of a third-party platform (Squarespace) that we don't control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Plugin is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost revenue or lost data, arising from the use or inability to use the Plugin.

8Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes won't retroactively reduce the license rights you already purchased.

9Contact

Questions about these terms, your license, or a refund? The fastest route is to reply to your purchase receipt, or email support@calbutton.app. A real person — the person who built CalButton — will get back to you.
